But I've gotten as much as 50 years of CRUSHING brain slug phobia across my worlds. In a game most often set to 300 years. Maybe, just maybe, this could be scaled back a tiddily bit?.

Per the wiki, the brain slug host is incompatible for leaders if the species has cybernetic. It makes sense to me they keep whatever traits they had before going cybernetic, but all new leaders with the species as cybernetic won't come with brain slug.
